Let me tell you the story of how we ended up here. Dealing in Gold. Just this week, MimiPambo transitioned into launching its first entirely gold plated collection. A couple of months ago, I arrived in New York with my jewelry box full of MimiPambo gems and ready to take on the city by storm. Unbeknownst to me, the humidity levels in New York were higher than those of Nairobi where MimiPambo is handcrafted. Therefore, the weather conditions dramatically increased the aging process of the metal used to craft MimiPambo. Therefore, suddenly, MimiPambo jewelry was not looking its very best out here in New York the way it did in Nairobi.

Immediately, I hopped on a call with my team after realizing this and set out to work out a solution to treat the metal to prevent it from fast deterioration despite a change in weather conditions. If I am being honest, this was not a problem I had foreseen and certainly I did not anticipate it. However, MimiPambo is committed to assuring the highest quality possible for all our customers and all Mimiis everywhere in the world. 

That was the beginning of the Gold plated Vision and Project. We overhauled our entire jewelry collection to include a gold plate on every single piece. I pride myself for the lengths that I will absolutely go to to ensure that MimiPambo is the best quality jewelry for you.
